How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend booking 2 to 4 months in advance to ensure your date is available—especially during peak seasons. This gives us plenty of time to work closely with you on crafting the perfect menu and experience for your event. That said, we’ll always do our best to accommodate shorter notice bookings when possible—so don’t hesitate to reach out!
Do you have a minimum guest count or order size?
At Southern Hogspitality, no gathering is too small—or too grand—for good food and good company. We’re happy to cater intimate private parties and gatherings, and we can serve up our Southern favorites for events as large as 300 guests. Whether it’s a cozy backyard get-together or a big crowd celebration, we’ll bring the flavor to fit the occasion.
Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely! Southern Hogspitality is fully licensed and insured, and our team holds all the necessary food handling certifications to ensure your event is not only delicious—but also safe and compliant with all local health regulations. Can I customize the menu, request a tasting, or accommodate special dietary or cultural needs?
You bet! At Southern Hogspitality, we’re all about making your event feel personal and perfectly tailored. Whether you’re looking to customize your menu, schedule a tasting, accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies, or serve themed or cultural cuisine, we’re here to make it happen. How is pricing determined, what’s included, and are there any additional fees or payment details I should know?
Great questions—and we like to keep things clear and simple at Southern Hogspitality.
Pricing is typically based on per-person rates, event packages, or custom quotes depending on your needs.
Our standard catering price includes the food, as well as flatware, napkins, table linens, and reusable plates to keep your event both stylish and sustainable.
We do ask for a 50% deposit at booking, with the remaining 50% due one week before your event.
Additional charges—like delivery fees or service staff—may apply depending on the size, location, and style of your event, but we’ll always outline those clearly upfront so there are no surprises.

What should I know about service, setup, and logistics on the day of the event?
At Southern Hogspitality, we handle the behind-the-scenes so you can focus on enjoying the moment. Here’s what we offer when it comes to service and event logistics:
Staffing: Yes, we provide friendly, professional staff for serving and cleanup to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Venues: We cater to a variety of locations—indoor, outdoor, and everything in between. We proudly partner with several local venues, and if you're working with one we haven’t yet, we’re happy to reach out and make arrangements.
Rentals: Need tables, chairs, linens, or dishware? If we don’t have it in-house, we’ll work with trusted local rental partners to make sure everything you need is covered.
Setup & Breakdown: We typically arrive about 2 hours before your event begins for setup and stay up to 2 hours after for a smooth breakdown.
Weather or Cancellations: We understand that life (and weather) can be unpredictable. If something comes up, we’ll work closely with you to do what’s right for the circumstances—flexibility and fairness are part of our promise.
Do you offer bar service, desserts, or help with planning?

Bar Service & Beverage Packages: While we don’t pour in-house, we partner with trusted local providers to offer everything from full bar service to custom drink packages tailored to your event.
